The Wallachia eHub 2.0 (WeH 2.0) project has the overall objective of accelerating the digital and green transformation of SMEs and Local Public Authorities in the South-Muntenia and Bucharest-Ilfov regions by delivering integrated services in digital innovation, technology testing, training, and support for accessing funding.
In line with the objectives of the Digital Europe Programme and European priorities related to competitiveness, artificial intelligence, and the digitalization of the economy, WeH 2.0 aims to strengthen the capacity of beneficiaries to adopt and effectively use advanced digital technologies in a sustainable and results-oriented manner.
Specific Objectives
- Increase the digital maturity level of SMEs and public organizations through Digital Maturity Assessments (DMA) and the development of tailored digital transformation roadmaps.
- Facilitate the testing and adoption of digital and emerging technologies, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, supply chain digitalization, robotics, blockchain, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Building Information Modelling (BIM), through Test Before Invest services.
- Develop advanced digital skills for employees, managers, and decision-makers through training and capacity-building programmes tailored to real beneficiary needs and market requirements.
- Support access to funding for digitalization and innovation by providing advisory services, guidance towards relevant European and national funding instruments, and connections to suitable investment opportunities.
- Strengthening the regional innovation ecosystem by fostering collaboration between the private sector, public authorities, academia, and relevant stakeholders within the European Digital Innovation Hubs network.
- Ensure continuity and scaling of achieved results, with particular attention to existing beneficiaries requiring additional support for growth, development, and the integration of implemented digital solutions.
Through the achievement of these objectives, WeH 2.0 contributes to enhancing regional economic competitiveness, modernizing public services, and integrating local stakeholders into the European digital innovation ecosystem.
